About Miranda
Miranda Janeschild (United States) is a Dancer, Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Feldenkrais® Practitioner who lives in Santa Cruz, California with her family. She began her studies with Frey Faust in 2001 and became certified to teach the Axis Syllabus in 2006. Miranda has contributed to the Santa Cruz dance community through her many years as a teacher, producer, director, choreographer, dancer and pediatric Occupational Therapist. For Ten years she was director of a theatrical aerial dance company, Mir & A Company, that mixed art mediums of theater, aerial, fire and modern dance to story telling. She holds a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy with specialty certificates as a Neuro-Developmental Treatment and Sensory Integration, advanced Baby Treatment and Feldenkrais®. She has a private practice as well as works for Santa Cruz County of Education serving at risk infants and youth with sensory processing, neuromuscular and orthopedic challenges.
